Try Judging

This interactive site offers students the opportunity to view and listen to 5 scenarios where the law has been broken. Students are required to make decisions based upon judicial principles, research, and the evidence; a “meter of justice” will tell students whether they have made an appropriate decision. Once students have worked through the scenarios they can complete a multiple choice quiz based upon what they have learned and print out their results.

The website is broken down into 5 modules, each with their own guiding question about the role of judges, a video scenario, and a complete teachers guide which includes lesson plans, additional exercises, and links to further online resources. Teacher resources and CDs can also be ordered through the website.
