Setting the Agenda, A Day in the Life of an MP or a Senator

The website Setting the Agenda gives students the opportunity to spend one typical day with either a Senator or a Member of Parliament. Students have the chance to plan their day the way the Senator or MP would taking into account the many meetings and invitations that need to be juggled.. They must attend committee meetings and make decisions that reflect their constituents beliefs.

Student handouts are provided as well as suggestions for class discussions. This website is very well organized and is teacher and student friendly.
