This landmark case focuses on the medical treatment of blood transfusions for a 14 year old girl. The teenager and her parents refused the transfusion because they were Jehovah Witnesses. A.C. (the teenage girl) was then made a ward of the court and given the transfusion anyway. Does this infringe upon her rights according to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms?
