Is it beneficial for Canada to be a part of the Kyoto Protocol?

This  page and subsequent links, housed by 2learn.ca, contains high school lessons pertaining to the challenges of globalization. The pages contain information, websites, print resources, activities and assessment activities designed to foster thinking and decision making in relation to the Kyoto Protocol and global warming.

Students are asked to examine the global issue from seven differing perspectives and present some conclusions. Legal and law-related activities include examining current Alberta laws and regulations governing oil and gas and evaluating means by which legislating bodies could address the issues and challenges of globalization.

This website could apply to science and social studies in grade ten and encourages students to develop strategies to demonstrate active, responsible global citizenship.
