Legal Roles and Responsibilities

This teacher resource provides activities that first draw on the student’s experiences of school rules and then moves to a broader focus of the criminal code. The students then move to the ways that we as citizens participate in the justice system and the rights and responsibilities we have to this system. The culmination of this study is for each student to design a pamphlet that identifies and explains the most important role and responsibilities we have as citizens of Canada.
